FINE ART WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

MEDFORD OREGON

Erica & Taylor reached out to me about their Fine Art Wedding Photography through my younger sister who she went to college with. When she first reached out to me and told me her story, I was instantly captivated. The sense of natural, elegant wedding was definitely my style.  I loved that she and Taylor were friends first and stayed together long-distance through his military training and later deployment after their wedding.  We had so much fun during their engagement photography session I couldn’t wait to fly to Medford Oregon for their intimate ceremony at Orchard Home Bed & Breakfast.

Both Erica & Taylor decided to keep things traditional and rand not see each other until Erica walked down the isle.  As the big day unfolded Erica took time to reminisce, Taylor, as she got ready and I was able to capture these little details including her wedding ring which was a family heirloom and one of the most stunning rings I have seen. Their ceremony was elegant and delightful, the Officiant was a close friend wearing (quite intentionally) a Canadian tuxedo.  All jeans, all day.

After the ceremony, we took some time to take their formal portraits while their guests enjoyed the cocktail hour.  Their couple portraits were all around the venue and you could really see how much this day meant to them in their portraits.  We wrapped up all the portraits right at dusk and they were able to enjoy their dinner and reception with family and friends.  During their reception, Erica danced with her father and her niece, who she very clearly had a special connection with. Things then got really out of hand with some line dancing near the end.

To sum it all up, it was an amazing, and special day that I will always remember.  They have since had their first baby while Taylor was deployed.  He returned and was united with his 6 month-year-old son.  It takes a special couple to make it through all that and still have their love at the end of the day.
